What time is the race?
Registration is open now. Day of registration will open at 6am at Lacy Park. The 5K begins PROMPTLY at 7:30am. The Fun Run will begin at 9:00am
When does registration close?
Registration is currently open and will be until the race reaches its capacity or the date arrives.
Is this race chip timed?
Due to the expense associated and the limits on attendance, we are not chip-timing the event.
Can I pick up my packet early?
You can pick up your and your teammates packets the Thursday before the race on March 23rd starting at 2pm at 918 E. Green Street, 2nd Fl.
Are children allowed to participate?
Children of all ages are able to participate in the Fun Run. We ask that only children 6 and up register for the 5K. There are different registration brackets for the 5K, but anyone can register for the Fun Run.
Are there overall awards?
There are prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in men and women’s categories We will ALSO be providing a recognition for the organization that registered the MOST participants. There will also be an event honoree.
What do I get for registering?
Other than the ability to participate in the event, you get a RUN FOR RECOVERY t-shirt, runner’s bib, finisher’s medal, access to the Vendor Village and MORE!

Will there be food?
There will be a coffee truck there first thing in the morning. Various food trucks will be available towards the end of the 5K around 8am.
Additionally, snacks and water will be available to all our participants.
Is this a fundraiser?
Yes, this event is one of the MAIN fundraisers for The Gooden Center. Please have all your friends and family sponsor your run. You can find out more about sponsorship by clicking on the SPONSORSHIP link.
